Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals: MSK vs. Grizzled Young Veterans
Carter and Gibson kick off the match. Gibson rolls Carter into an armbar. Drake tags in and eats a spinning springboard from Carter. Lee tags in, which leads to a classic MSK double team (flying dropkick into a broncobuster). Lee drops Drake with a pump kick. Lee sends Gibson flying with a ranna. Lee and Carter light Gibson with a few strikes. Lee hits a cartwheel senton to the outside, flattening Gibson and Drake. Carter leaps off Lee’s back and lands on Drake. Gibson moves out of the way. Gibson floors Carter with a clothesline out on the floor. Gibson and Drake take turns working over Carter. Carter manages to tag in Lee. Lee clears the ring. Gibson and Drake end up outside the ring.
Lee runs from one end of the ring to the other and dives over the ring post onto Gibson and Drake. Gibson rolls back up the ring. Lee hits a backflip Pelé kick. Drake breaks up the pin. After a distraction from Drake, Gibson trips Lee off the top rope. Gibson tries a powerbomb but Lee reverses it into a facebuster. Carter fires up and hits a skywalker cutter on Gibson for a near fall. Lee tries the backflip kick again but this time Gibson meets him in midair with a sick kick. Gibson drops Lee with Helter Skelter. Drake follows that with a 450 splash. Lee kicks out. Lee reverses the doomsday device into a victory roll. Gibson kicks out. Lee and Carter hit Hot Fire Flame on Gibson. Lee destroys Drake with a poison ranna.
Carter lands a Swanton. Lee follows that with the Final Flash. Drake kicks out at 2.9. Gibson picks Lee up on his shoulders outside the ring. Drake comes flying in and suicide dives Lee off Gibson’s shoulders. Carter fights off Gibson and Drake. Gibsons and Drake blast Carter with a powerbomb into a backstabber. Carter kicks out! Gibson badmouths Carter. Drake and Gibson set up a Ticket to Mayhem. Lee breaks it up. Carter picks Drake up in a bearhug. Lee slingshots off the ropes into a blockbuster! Lee Pins Drake!
