The Lucha Bros are pulling from their past as Laredo Kid returns to All Elite Wrestling this week for trios match action.
Tony Khan announced Laredo Kid will team with Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix against The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler on the March 24 episode of AEW Dynamite. The appearance will mark Laredo Kid’s first appearance in the company since he appeared at Fyter Fest 2019.
For those wondering about PAC’s status, Khan also explained that Laredo Kid was taking his place due to not being cleared for competition yet. PAC sustained an ankle injury at Revolution and won’t be ready to go, so the Lucha Bros brought back their original AEW trios partner, Laredo Kid.
The following matches have been confirmed for Wednesday night’s lineup:
World Championship Eliminator (If Sydal wins, he earns a title shot)
Kenny Omega (w/ Don Callis) vs. Matt Sydal
TNT Championship
Darby Allin (c) vs. John Silver
Nyla Rose (w/ Vickie Guerrero) vs. Tay Conti
The Pinnacle (FTR and Shawn Spears) vs. Brian Pillman Jr., Griff Garrison, and Dante Martin
The Young Bucks & Brandon Cutler vs. The Lucha Bros & Laredo Kid
Nearly 2 years after his @AEW debut in a classic match at #FyterFest 2019, @Laredokidpro1 will return for his #AEWDynamite debut this Wednesday LIVE on TNT, reuniting with the Lucha Brothers @ReyFenixMx & @PENTAELZEROM to battle World Tag Team Champions @youngbucks & @BranCutler! pic.twitter.com/6gdtthBiim
