Backstage, Sonya Deville lets the suspended Charlotte Flair into the arena.
In-Ring Segment: Sonya Deville
Deville introduces Charlotte Flair. Flair joins Deville in the ring. Deville notes that the referee that Flair attack is also in the ring. Deville says last week, Pearce was a bit hasty. Deville gives Flair the floor. Flair apologies to the referee and to WWE Managment. Referee Orengo accepts her apology and says if he saw Rhea Ripley’s interference, he would have made a different call. Deville lifts Flair’s suspension. Deville adds that Flair will return to action tonight and Orengo will be the referee. Flair says that since he admitted it was his fault, he should apologize to her. Referee Orengo apologizes.
Backstage, Pearce meets Flair and Deville behind the curtain. Deville tries to apologize but Pearce says he doesn’t believe it. Pearce storms off as Flair laughs.
Backstage, Pearce is talking on the phone about someone usurping power. Strowman storms in and says since he didn’t get pinned in the number one contender’s triple threat match he should be added to the title match at the PPV if he wins tonight. Strowman asks if Pearce has to check with Deville first. Pearce agrees to the stipulation.
In-Ring Segment: Sheamus
Sheamus says Humberto Carrillo doesn’t belong in the ring with him. says he’s going to issue another open challenge tonight. Sheamus adds that the United States Championship won’t be on the line. Carrillo storms down to the ring. Sheamus laughs and asks if Carrillo is insane for coming out here tonight. Sheamus throws his hat in Carrillo’s face and cheap shots him. Sheamus grabs the mic to yap, but Carrillo attacks him from behind. Carrillo dumps Sheamus out of the ring. Carrillo dropkicks Sheamus every time he tries to get back in the ring. Carrillo hits a suicide dive that sends Sheamus flying over the announce desk.
