Alexa Bliss Helps Nikki Cross Beat Shayna Baszler, Doudrop Pins Asuka

Alexa Bliss Helps Nikki Cross Beat Shayna Baszler

Alexa Bliss continued her pestering of Shayna Baszler this week on WWE RAW, as she helped Nikki Cross come away with a big win over the former NXT Women’s Champion. During a match between Cross and Baszler, Bliss made an entrance (with a new theme song) and took out Nia Jax and Reginald. With Baszler a bit distracted from the action outside of the ring, she was caught off guard by Cross, who pinned her stunned opponent for the victory.

Before the match, Cross also gave herself a new nickname. She called herself “Ash,” which is short for “Almost A Superhero.” This moniker is the newest development in Cross’ new superhero character.

Doudrop Pins Asuka

In a tag team match later in the show, Asuka & Naomi teamed up to take on Eva Marie and her protege, Doudrop. In a shocking finish, Doudrop & Eva Marie came away with the win, mostly thanks to the WWE RAW newcomer. Late in the match, Asuka attempted to end things quickly with a schoolboy pin, but Doudrop wouldn’t go down so easily.

After Naomi attempted to land a big splash off the ropes, Doudrop was able to hit a nasty crossbody slam onto Asuka that put her down long enough for the win. But Marie took credit for the victory shortly after the match ended, despite the fact that she refused to tag in and practically abandoned her partner during the bout.
