IMPACT Wrestling Draws Their Lowest Viewership Ever On 7/1/21

It wasn’t the best week for IMPACT Wrestling. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics is reporting that IMPACT drew 69,000 viewers on AXS TV for July 1, 2021. The main event featured Kenny Omega & The Good Brothers defeating Sami Callihan, Moose & Chris Sabin.

The viewership was so low that they have actually only ever been below 100k once before when they went head to head with NXT in September of 2020 and got 78,000 views. IMPACT had a 0.02 in the key 18-49 demo which is the lowest of 2021 and the third lowest ever.

The number includes both live and same day viewers. A possible explanation for the number was that many guide listings through DirecTV were experiencing errors which caused shows to be listed at the wrong time. IMPACT issued a warning to fans earlier Thursday about these glitches. The error therefore caused DVRs to not record the show.
