After Bobby Lashley clearly parted ways with Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander this past March, the Hurt Business shocked the WWE Universe by reuniting tonight on Monday Night RAW, and they seem to have their sights set on the New Day.

In a WWE Championship match that opened the show, Big E and Bobby Lashley gave it their all in the ring, but late in the bout, it looked for a moment as if the champion would come away with the victory. But Alexander and Benjamin — decked out in Hurt Business gear — arrived at ringside and distracted Big E. Distracted by the duo’s presence, Big E was vulnerable to a Spear from Lashley. This thunderous blow might have been enough to put Big E down, but unfortunately for Lashley, the reunion of the Hurt Business also ushered in the arrival of Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, who ran down and began a brawl with the group that ended the match when it spilled into the ring.
The trio of Hurt Business brawled with the New Day before WWE official Adam Pearce made his way out out to the ramp to say that the match wouldn’t end like that. Instead, he announced that Lashley will get another shot at Big E in a Steel Cage Match later in the show. (Big E ultimately won that match, despite more interference from Alexander and Benjamin.)
