Hit Row’s Top Dolla Creates Rap Over Sneaker Tweet Controversy

Top Dolla knows it doesn’t take much to rile up wrestling fans nowadays.

Earlier this week, WWE‘s Top Dolla of Hit Row sent out a tweet regarding the sneakers other wrestlers wear on the competition. He didn’t name anyone specific, but this eventually led to a Twitter bio response from The Young Bucks which got wrestling fans on both sides engaging in a social media war over sneakers of all things.

Top Dolla responded this morning with his own freestyle rap. You can check out the video embedded below or just read the lyrics here instead:

Wait, oh ya’ll mad, huh?
Talkin’ down on Top Dolla ya’ll down bad, huh?
See, ya’ll done went and got your sneakers in a twist
I’m like COVID; you don’t want it see I’m sicker when I spit
Nah lemme get out in the open I’m putting everybody in the damn game on notice
I didn’t say nobody name, no
But Top Dolla was trending all damn day, so what that say?
They thought they set a heavy trap like it’s back day
Yea you got ya penny for ya thoughts this is back pay
When you’re actually great homie you don’t have to act great
In real life y’all 5’8″, that’s why you act fake
I’m from where we smell the fake on you
In Squid Games I would punch you in the face for marbles
They may say that he lost his marbles, but I got tunnel vision
Like I’m sittin’ in a carpool and my carpal’s never tunnel
My pen works in abundance a decade getting money homie you don’t really want it
It’s clear that validation is all that you covet
Sending fake witch hunts with ya peoples like in a coven
Frankie baby, hotter than an oven
You know who I’m talking to dog, Muhammad and McLovin
I mean it’s clear to see the boy, super bad
I’ll son you and all ya mans, I’m a super dad
I grew up on free lunch, yea the food was bad
But it was eat or not eat, so I made do with that
And the game is still the same
When you talk down on my name
Realize, not nada’s hotta than a flame
Recognize who you’re talking to homeboy
I’m not one of your average run of the mill everyday joes
Y’all talking about me you better be able to back it up
Cause I’m coming straight at your dome top you know what I’m saying?
