The AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament continued Wednesday night on AEW Dynamite, and Jon Moxley wasted little time in advancing to the next round with a decisive win over Preston “10” Vance.
In a match between the two competitors that didn’t seem very equal from the start, Moxley was able to dominate his opponent as soon as the bell rang. After he threw 10 outside of the ring and against the steel steps, Moxley began to tear at his opponent’s mask; he went so far as to smash 10’s face into the steel posts outside of the ring.
Back in the ring, with 10 bleeding profusely from his forehead, Moxley ended the bout with the Paradigm Shift for the win. In the next round, he’ll face off against Orange Cassidy, as the two fan-favorite stars will look to advance further in the tournament.
