Hangman Page is cherishing the moment.
Hangman Adam Page took part in a post-show media scrum after he won the AEW World Championship at AEW Full Gear on Saturday. Page spoke about what the moment meant to him and called it one of the biggest moments of his career.
“This means everything. Now I’m going to cry. This is everything I’ve worked for along the way. I just put so much of myself into this in ways that were tough, very tough, but ultimately very cathartic,” Page said. “And to just hear people losing their shit, man you can’t get better than that,” Page said. This is one of the biggest moments of my life.”
Hangman Page defeated Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear, ending Omega’s reign at 346 days. This is Page’s first major singles title win.
