Chris Dickinson Suffers Apparent Injury At NJPW Battle In The Valley, Pulled From ‘Detonation’ Tapings

Chris Dickinson seemingly suffered an injury at NJPW Battle in the Valley on November 13.

On Saturday night, Dickinson and Brody King faced Bateman and Mysterioso. During the bout, Dickinson hit a frog splash before Bateman pinned him. After the bell, Dickinson stayed down and required ice to be applied to his hamstring area. He left the arena on a stretcher, and after the show, he asked the fans for “positive vibes.”

Dickinson regularly competes for NJPW STRONG, Ring of Honor, and Game Changer Wrestling, among other promotions. In October, he defeated Mike Bennett to become the inaugural UWN World Champion. Otherwise, he’s one of the most renowned competitors on the independent scene.

Update: In a tweet on November 14, NJPW announced that Dickinson will not appear at the Detonation tapings. As a result, Yuya Uemera will take his place in a tag team bout with Alex Zayne; they will face Jay White and Hikuleo.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
