In-Ring Segment: NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams
Williams says when Hayes has gold they both have gold. They go together like Kobe and Shaq or Trick Williams and big booty women. Hayes wants to have a moment of silence for Roderick Strong Cruiserweight Championship reign. Hayes pours one out for Strong, and notes while this is around his waist, it is the A Championship. That’s what it is and what it will forever be. While Hayes and Williams are celebrating, AJ Styles makes his entrance for his match. Hayes and Williams eyeball Styles as he walks past them.
Backstage, Cameron Grimes has Hayes’ car keys. Grimes says he wants the North American Championship.
AJ Styles vs. Grayson Waller
Styles lands multiple strikes. Styles focuses on Waller’s leg. Waller runs into a backbreaker from Styles. Waller trips Styles into the turnbuckle. Styles fires back with a few chops. Waller blasts Styles with a right hand. Styles responds with a dropkick. Waller trips Styles on the apron. Hangman’s neck breaker by Waller. Waller slides back in the ring to get a running start for a baseball slide into a clothesline. After the break, Waller is continuing his assault.
Styles sets up the Styles Clash but Waller hooks the ropes and slides out of the ring. Styles lands a diving elbow. Elbow drop by Waller. Styles kicks out. Styles traps Waller in the Calf Crusher. Waller gets to the ropes. Waller tries to Styles Clash Styles. Styles back body drops Waller to escape the hold. Waller avoids the Phenomenal Forearm and hits his patented rolling stunner. Styles kicks out. Styles destroys Waller with a brainbuster. Phenomenal Forearm by Styles for the win.
Winner- AJ Styles
After the match, Styles tells Waller he has a friend he wants to introduce to him. LA Knight’s music hits. Waller is terrified. Knight hits the ring and destroys Waller.
