Cena subsequently commented on the news and stated that he’s “elated” about the opportunity to create more peace with the series’ continuation.

The former WWE Champion first introduced the world to Peacemaker in the 2021 film, “The Suicide Squad” before the character received a spin-off series, which premiered on HBO Max on January 13, 2022.  In addition to Cena, “Peacemaker” also features Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Chukwudi Iwuji, and Freddie Stroma, among others. The first season consisted of eight episodes; Gunn, Cena, Peter Safran, and Matt Miller were its executive producers.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
