Report: John Cena Set To Film ‘Peacemaker’ Later In 2024, Update On WWE Availability

A new report provides an update on John Cena‘s schedule and his availability for WWE.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that John Cena will be filming the second season of DC’s Peacemaker from June through November. As of this writing, the filming schedule is set to wrap up around Thanksgiving.

Additionally, Johnson reports that some in WWE expect that Cena will be in town for WrestleMania 40 this weekend. However, this has not been confirmed, and Cena will be “off the board” for anything major physicality-wise for WWE for most of 2024 due to his acting commitments.

Cena has been absent from WWE since he lost to Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown Jewel in November. He returned to the company for a brief run during the SAG-AFTRA strike, as he received permission to do so.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
