On March 16, AEW taped several matches for the March 18 episode of AEW Rampage at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas.

Darby Allin defeated The Butcher by countout.
- The Andrade Family Office tried to attack Sting and Darby but the Hardys made the save. Matt challenged the AFO to an eight-man Texas Tornado match for next week, where The Hardys would team with Darby and Sting against The Butcher and The Blade, and Private Party.
Red Velvet defeated Leyla Hirsch
- Kris Statlander come out and stopped Hirsch from using a weapon in the match, and Velvet used the distraction to roll Hirsch up to win
Malakai Black, Buddy Matthews, and Brody King defeated Bear Country and Fuego del Sol
- Matthews pinned Fuego
Keith Lee defeated Max Caster
- Lee won with a Jackhammer. Team Taz’s Starks and Hobbs attacked Lee, but Swerve Strickland made the save
