Two More Stars Qualify For North American Title Bout At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver

On March 22, WWE NXT 2.0 kicked off with a qualifying match for the North American Championship Ladder Match at NXT Stand & Deliver. The veteran Roderick Strong faced the buzzworthy prospect, Solo Sikoa in a hard-fought singles bout. At times, Strong looked like he had the offensive advantage during the contest, given his experience.

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams joined commentary as the two fought it out and midway, Santos Escobar, who qualified on last week’s episode, came to the stage. Regardless, Strong continued to maintain a steady offense, Sikoa was undeniable. He ultimately pinned the veteran with his Uso splash in order to qualify for the ladder match.

Later in the show, A-Kid, fresh off his NXT prime debut, faced Grayson Waller in another qualifying match. Despite the newcomer’s best efforts, Waller emerged victorious, as he dropped A-Kid with his signature rolling cutter for the win.

Next week, Strong, A-Kid, and Cameron Grimes will face off in a Triple Threat Match for the final spot in the ladder match.
