A new match has been made official for WWE NXT Stand & Deliver, as new number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championships have been decided. It was earlier announced that the winners of the tag team tournament would get a title shot against the current champions, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of The Vanity Project.
After weeks of matches, the tournament ended with a big final. Birthright (Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) faced Los Americanos (Bravo and Rayo Americano) on the March 31, 2026, episode of WWE NXT.
Los Americanos were added to the tournament in controversial manner after the team of Eli Knight and Elio LeFleur was taken out earlier.
Los Americanos emerge as new challengers for the NXT Tag Team Championships
The match between Birthright and Los Americanos started fast. Los Americanos started strong, with Rayo going right after Connors. Lorenzo tagged in, but Bravo rolled him up for a two-count. Tag in Bravo. Together, Americano hit a double-team move on Lorenzo.
Connors tried to help from the outside, and Lorezno took Bravo to the floor, smashing his face on the apron before throwing him back in. But Bravo turned things around. A kick sent Lorenzo back into the ring, and a big lariat dropped Bravo. Lorenzo pushed him into the corner and tried to rip off his mask, but Bravo escaped and tagged Rayo back in.
Connors got the tag, and he landed an Ace Crusher for a near fall. Rayo and Connors are trading heavy shots. Rayo hit a big move, leaving both men down. Bravo comes in and starts dishing out kicks, even hitting Lorenzo with an airplane spin.
Then Lexis King interfered with a cheap shot, and Lorezno followed up with a knee strike. But Bravo still kicks out. Shiloh Hill then ran in with a chair to chase away Lexis King.
Rayo hit a corner knee, then a Frankensteiner from the top rope. Bravo followed with a splash, but Connors broke the pin. The action spilled everywhere. Rayo got thrown outside, Bravo was double-teamed, and Lorezno hit a big slam before diving onto Rayo. Uriah added a top-rope senton, but Americano somehow kicked out.
Then El Grande Americano showed up to support Los Americanos.
El Grande distracted the referee at a key moment. Taking advantage, Los Americanos added metal pieces to their masks.
With the referee unaware, they used those masks to headbutt both Connors and Lorenzo. The move worked, as Bravo pinned Connors after a running headbutt to win the match.
With this controversial win, Los Americanos are now the top contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championships. They will face Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes at Stand & Deliver this Saturday.
