Toa Liona: I’ve Signed With AEW, I’m Part Of The ROH Roster

Toa Liona says he has signed with All Elite Wrestling.

Liona and Kaun became the founding members of Tully Blanchard Enterprises at ROH Supercard of Honor on April 1. The duo was introduced as The Gates of Agony, and they defeated Cheeseburger and Eli Isom.

In an interview with Koffin Radio, Liona stated that that he has signed with AEW, and he is a member of the ROH roster.

“Yeah it’s official,” said Liona. “I’m signed with them. So we’ll see. I’m part of the ROH roster but you know, I’m contracted so you never know when I might pop up on TBS or TNT. Watch Dynamite and Rampage.

Liona previously worked some AEW Dark tapings, and he was told to “stay ready” by company president Tony Khan. The powerhouse knew that when the time came, he had to be prepared to make the most out of any opportunity he got.

“So after all the Dark tapings and stuff like that, I had a conversation with Tony and he just pretty much said, ‘Stay ready,'” said Liona. “So I got my gear and had a conversation with Kaun. Me and him have the same type of mindset. We love to grind, we love to work hard, and we both want to the best to ever do it. So I feel like it was the perfect partnership for me and him to put together in a tag. So when that happened, man, we just had to stay ready, and when we got that phone call, you get another opportunity, you got to get ready to hit out of the park.”

Liona also discussed working with Tully Blanchard and stated that he was “ecstatic” about it. He referenced his previous experience working with Blanchard, the former manager of FTR, during the latter duo’s match with Liona and Mike Reed on AEW Dark: Elevation.

Brian Cage later joined Tully Blanchard as third member of Tully Blanchard Enterprises at ROH Supercard of Honor.
