AEW Rampage viewership increased on April 22.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 518,000 viewers watched the show on Friday, and it drew a 0.19 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The overall viewership is up from last week, when 482,000 viewers watched the show at a special 7 .p.m. start time. But the April 22 episode scored a 0.47 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, which is down from the the April 15 episode (0.22 rating, 288,000 viewers).
Smackdown was #5 in P18-49 for Friday, the most-viewed telecast not on ESPN.
Rampage was #14 among cable originals, according to Showbuzz, #22 including broadcast primetime.

Citing Showbuzz Daily, Thurston noted that Rampage ranked #14 among cable originals and #22 overall in the demographic. Coverage of the NBA playoffs dominated TV on Friday.
This week’s episode of AEW Rampage featured an Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Qualifying Match, as Adam Cole faced Tomohiro Ishii. Plus, Eddie Kingston battled Daniel Garcia, and Jade Cargill put her title and her streak on the line against Marina Shafir.
