Court Bauer Announces Lince Dorado For 5/13 MLW Show, Teases Future TV Deal

Court Bauer has brought former WWE Superstar Lince Dorado to Major League Wrestling.

Major League Wrestling owner Court Bauer was a guest on today’s episode of Busted Open Radio with Dave LeGreca and Bully Ray to make the announcement that Lince Dorado is the newest member of the MLW roster.

“Enzo has become a pretty big force at MLW since debuting last fall. And with that success, he’s become — how do I say this nicely? Noisy and pushy for more competition,” Court Bauer said. “So we got a show coming up next week, May 13, at the 2300 Arena, the old ECW arena, South Philly. So we thought it was a good opportunity to give him a new, fresh opponent, and it’s the newest member of our roster; Lince Dorado will be joining the company starting next Friday, May 13, when TV trucks roll up in Philly.

“He’s a great star from WWE [who] can do it all. Can do Lucha, can do American style, can do Japanese style. He brings all that to the table, and he’s facing a guy that’s like a street fighter,” Court Bauer said. “So styles make fights. I know Enzo is looking for a big fight. He’s looking for something different. He’s had a thing with KC Navarro. So I think with Lince, he’s getting a guy with a bit more experience. We’ve seen gone around the world and looking to prove himself in MLW. So it’s gonna be an interesting dynamic.”

When the rumors of a big deal for Major League Wrestling landing a new home on cable came up, Bauer kept that information close to the vest but did tease that something might be on the horizon.

“Ah, yeah, well, we didn’t want anything out quite yet,” Court Bauer said. “What I can say is that yeah, there might be something in the mix, but I can’t say much. I can confirm that we are in deep talks with a possible player either in cable or in streaming. I can’t say anything else; I’ll get into trouble, but we’ve been working on something for a bit.”
