WWE SmackDown is staying put on Friday nights.
FOX announced its fall premiere dates for the 2022-2023 television schedule, and WWE SmackDown will remain in its regular 8-10 pm EST timeslot “throughout the season.”
Additional schedule details will be announced at a later date. The announcement did not mention any pre-emptions due to MLB playoffs and World Series coverage but it’s possible SmackDown could be moved for at least one episode, depending on the game schedule. Fox Sports and Major League Baseball extended their media rights agreement through 2028.
