Logan Paul believes that NFTs will make the next generation of the internet more digestible for everyone.

WWE recently signed Logan Paul and even though Logan will be working for them between the ropes, Logan shares a similar mentality with the promotion in regards to NFTs and Web 3.0. Starting in 2021, WWE began looking into NFTs, having special drops around WrestleMania time for The Undertaker and a special NFT drop around SummerSlam 2021 for John Cena.

Recently, Logan spoke with the Inside Web3 podcast about what he believes the future holds for Web 3.0 and why he feels it will bring people closer together than ever before.

“What I try to do is make Web3 conversation a little bit more digestible for the average person who doesn’t care about Crypto or NFTs…That’s kind of where I fit in. I have gotten decent at making people care about niche topics. Pokemon is an example — that’s my most successful example. I even had the pleasure of having some people tell me they got into NFTs because of the conversations I was having early on before it became mainstream.”

Logan also spoke about how partnering with the wrong people can lead to negative experiences that ruin the perception of projects like cryptocurrency and NFTs.

“I think it’s the future. It’s enviable. It’s really easy to see what’s happening right now. We look around right now, the market is hard, times are hard, the world isn’t in the best spot ever…It feels inevitable, and I have to get involved…There’s three things I’ve learned: [great product, great partners, and great marketing]. The thing I have messed up on, my most repeated error, is the partners. You have to trust the people you’re working with. In this space, because it is so new, and there are easier ways to make money unjustly, bad people latch on to that. I’ve unfortunately partnered with the wrong people multiple times.”

Ultimately though, Logan Paul says Web3 is all about communities, and he thinks it’s unfortunate that the mainstream remains hesitant about joining the conversation about NFTs.

“I think Web3 is going to bring people together in a way that Web2 couldn’t. I think there’s more legitimacy and fiscal power that Web3 brings…In Web3, it’s not so much a customer, versus your community, so treat your community well…I really want people to understand NFTs. It is disappointing to me that the mainstream is so closed off to the conversation…It’s going to be a balance of making this technology be of actual significance in real-world application, which I think we can do.”

In the past, Logan Paul has said that he believes he can help WWE become more mainstream. Read more about his less-than-humble reaction to his in-ring ability here.
