Scarlett Bordeaux Joins Smashverse Video Game

Scarlett Bordeaux is coming to the Smashverse.

According to a new press release issued to WrestleZone, Scarlett Bordeaux will be appearing in the upcoming fighting video game, Smashverse.

“Scarlett Bordeaux was able to capture the minds of the international wrestling audience very quickly in such an emphatic way,” said Smashverse founder River Tamoor Baig. “A hugely talented and experienced performer, every time she’s on screen, her presence is undeniable and we’re certain the same will be in effect in the Smashverse. Welcome, Scarlett!”

Smashverse is set to feature some of the biggest stars from the worlds of Boxing, MMA, and Professional Wrestling, as well as a host of custom-created and fan-created combat characters. Built on blockchain technology, the game will allow players to compete against each other in various types of battles including 1v1 and 2v2, while also earning rewards.

Each character within the game will be its own NFT (Non-Fungible Token), a non-interchangeable unit of data stored on the blockchain, which potential players can purchase to use in the game. This creates the opportunity for the real-life athletes who offer their likeness to the game to profit from the sales of their characters, both in original sales and re-sales. A considerable portion of profits will also be donated to charity.

Smashverse is currently in the early stages of development, with an initial release expected in Winter 2022. Al Snow was previously announced as being one of the talents confirmed for the Smashverse lineup.

Scarlett and Killer Kross recently sat down with WrestleZone about some of the more subtle inspirations for their respective characters.  Kross revealed that Scarlett drew inspiration from the character Lady Gaga played on American Horror Story.
