SWE Fury Return Event Cancelled, No Future Shows Planned

SWE Fury’s return has hit a bump in the road.

In a post on its Facebook page, Southwest Wrestling Entertainment announced that the “Find The Real” event on August 13 has been canceled. The company will be issuing full refunds for those who purchased tickets. In the post, SWE stated that no future shows are planned at this time.

“Find The Real” was set to be SWE Fury’s first live event since the promotion’s two-year anniversary event took place in August 2021. Since debuting in August of 2019, SWE ran twenty events around Texas, stopping in various cities like Canton, Plano, San Antonio and Irving.

From SWE Fury:

As of today this event will be cancelled. We will begin the process of issuing full refunds including any fees paid later this afternoon. There will be no other future events planned moving forward. Thank you to everyone that supported and promoted this event.

The Eventbrite page for the show has paused ticket sales, and SWE also noted that a statement from Charlie Haas would be shared in the near future.

A number of noteworthy names have competed for SWE. Charlie Haas is the reigning SWE Heavyweight Champion. Gangrel, Justin Credible, Teddy Long, Lacey Von Erich, Big Caz XL (Big Cass), Melina, The Ascension, Enzo Amore, Trevor Murdoch, Shane Taylor, Kerry Morton, Jacob Fatu, and The Boogeyman have also worked for the company. WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry has appeared at SWE events in the past.
