Renee Paquette Is Excited To See Stephanie McMahon Flourish In Her New Role

Renee Paquette is looking forward to see what Stephanie McMahon can do as the co-Chief Executive Officer of WWE.

Vince McMahon retired on July 22, and WWE subsequently named Stephanie and Nick Khan as the co-Chief Executive Officers.

Speaking to the media at Starrcast V, Paquette was asked about Mr. McMahon’s retirement, and she noted that it’s probably a stressful time within WWE. She went on to express how she’s excited to see Stephanie get the opportunity to flourish.

“I mean it was quick, it was definitely a quick moment and I think it’s obviously a very interesting, I’m sure very stressful time with what all is going on over there.” said Paquette. “One thing I will say about that though is I love seeing Steph step in as the co-CEO. I think she’s amazing. She’s not only one of the best performers that we’ve had in WWE, but I think all the work that she does behind the scenes, I think for her to really get this opportunity, to see her flourish in that spot and see what she’s gonna do, I think it’s really cool”

When asked to name something that people may not know about Stephanie from a creative perspective, Paquette noted that she’s very present, despite all of the responsibilities that are on her plate.

“The thing with Steph that you get that I’ve always really admired, for somebody as busy as she is and everyone’s tugging her a million different directions, when you’re talking to Steph, you’re talking to Steph,” said Paquette. “She’s not thinking of a million different things. She’s very present, she’s with you. There are times I would talk to Stephanie and whether it’s me talking to her about a promo I had coming up or other work-related things, but also just like we would talk about our dogs, I would still message her pictures of our baby. She’s super, super personable like that.”
