After some turbulent times over the past couple of weeks, Team Taz is officially done.
During tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Taz announced that the group was done, ending a longstanding union between some of the biggest names in All Elite Wrestling. This seemed to come to a head last week, where, after HOOK defeated fellow Team Taz member Ricky Starks for the FTW Championship, he was attacked by Powerhouse Hobbs.
The situation apparently was the final straw for the group, and Taz made the announce right before Powerhouse took to the ring to defeat Ren Jones in a fully dominant win. For now, it’s unclear what the future will hold for the three superstars, but HOOK will continue to defend his newly won FTW Championship while the other two look to establish a name for themselves.
