WWE RAW Viewership Dips Below Two Million On 8/8, Demo Rating Also Dips

WWE RAW viewership dropped on August 8.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.956 million viewers watched the show on Monday. This is down from last week, when  2.230 million viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.54 rating, which also marks a drop from the August 1 episode (0.61 rating). RAW took the top three spots in the demographic among cable originals on Monday. Thurston noted that RAW ranked #2 overall, as The Bachelorette ranked in the top spot. He also wrote that the total viewers and the demographic rating were down 12% compared to last week.

Per Showbuzz Daily, the hourly breakdown is as follows:

  • Hour One: 1.953 million viewers, 0.51 rating
  • Hour Two: 2.046 million viewers, 0.56 rating
  • Hour Three: 1.868 million viewers, 0.54 rating

This week’s episode featured a WWE United States Championship match where Bobby Lashley defended the title against Ciampa. Plus, the WWE Women’s Team Team Championship tournament began. In the main event, AJ Styles battled The Miz in a No Disqualification match.
