Becky Lynch Provides An Update On Her Shoulder Injury

Becky Lynch has provided a bit of a more positive update on the shoulder injury that currently has her sidelined.

On July 30th, Lynch challenged Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam. Through her valiant efforts, Lynch sustained a separated shoulder during the bout. Following her loss, Becky Lynch appeared on Monday Night RAW two days later wearing a sling on her right arm. Then, Lynch announced her injury.

Later in the evening, Lynch was written off of television after suffering an attack from Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY. Lynch is expected to be out of in-ring action for several months now, but she recently shared an update.

Lynch recently spoke during an Instagram livestream with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Seth Rollins, and Brian Gewirtz.  There, she opened up a little about the recovery process of her injury.

“Hopefully, in the next couple of months. Now that I got a bad wing, I have a little bit more time to dedicate to it (writing her book).

Lynch continued on to reveal her good news of “healing up really quick.”

“I feel like I got a little bit more mobility in it (her shoulder) because when it happened, it was so painful that I was like, ‘oh no, I’m going to be out for a long, long time.’ But now, it’s healing up really quick. I’m feeling strong, I’m feeling good. I’m hoping it won’t be much time at all.”

The exact timetable for Becky Lynch’s return is not yet confirmed, other than several months from now. WrestleZone will keep you updated as more details on Lynch’s injury emerge.
