A new pair of WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions have been crowned, as Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah stunned the duo of IYO SKY and Dakota Kai to win the belts.
In the finals of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament, things looked to be going IYO and Dakota’s way, with Bayley watching on from ringside and even joining in every so often to antagonize Rodriguez and Aliyah. However, things fell apart late, as the trio of Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss all came running down to the ring, scaring off Bayley and confusing SKY and Kai in the process.
While SKY and Kai weren’t watching, Aliyah secretly tagged in as the legal partner and quickly jumped off the apron. SKY then hit a big slam on Rodriguez with Kai watching on and gloating, but Aliyah quickly slid into the ring and pulled her down for the surprise pin and win.
