AEW Rampage: Grand Slam Results (9/23): Sting, Eddie Kingston, And More

Eddie Kingston vs. Sammy Guevara (with Tay Melo)

Guevara and Melo kiss as they make their way to the ring. Guevara grabs a microphone and says he’s sorry he didn’t call Kingston “a fat piece of s–” sooner. Kingston takes the fight to Guevara and slams him into the apron. “The Mad King” headbutts Guevara, who fires back with a chop and some strikes. Kingston pokes him in the eye. Guevara sends Kingston crashing to the floor and kicks him. Guevara grounds Kingston and taunts the crowd. Kingston dares Guevara to hit him again, and he does. They trade slaps, and Guevara suplexes Kingston. “The Mad King” fires up with a back elbow. Melo trips him up, and Guevara capitalizes with a knee strike. Guevara hits the double-jump cutter for a two count. Kingston floors him with a lariat. He hits a backdrop driver, but Guevara evades the spinning backfist.

Guevara drills Kingston with a superkick, but Kingston counters the GTH. He suplexes Guevara and hits the spinning backfist. He hits another two and locks in the Stretch Plum, and the referee calls for the bell. Kingston refuses to let go, even as his music hits, and officials are called to the ring. Kingston still won’t let go. The referee reverses the decision, and Kingston snaps, as he attacks several officials.

Winner via reversed decision: Sammy Guevara

AEW TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) (with The Baddies) vs. Diamante (with Trina)

Diamante kicks Cargill’s leg. The champion takes control, but Diamante chops her in the corner. A dropkick and more strikes give the challenger some momentum. She gets a two count on a sunset flip. Cargill floors her with a kick. Diamante drops Cargill with a kick of her own. Cargill catches Diamante when she dives off the top and slams her onto the apron. The champion is limping, but she keeps fighting. She hits the Jaded for the win.

Winner and still TBS Champion: Jade Cargill 

Trina gets into the ring and turns on Diamane. She then shakes hands with Cargill and celebrates with her.

Grand Slam Golden Ticket Battle Royal: Winner Earns Future AEW World Title Shot

Hangman Page makes his way to the ring and gets attacked by RUSH, The Butcher, The Blade, and Private Party. Dark Order makes the save, and the rest of contestants make their way to ringside. They brawl as officials struggle to restore order.

Lights Out Match: Ricky Starks vs. Powerhouse Hobbs

Starks takes the fight to Hobbs and has him reeling. Hobbs takes control, using his strength and size advantage. Starks slams Hobbs into a chair and spikes him with a DDT. Hobbs hits Starks below the belt, but Starks returns the favor. Hobbs slams him onto a chair with a backdrop. He powerslams Starks onto two chairs for a two count. The two foes brawl up the ramp. Starks goes for a Spear, but Hobbs dodges it and sends Starks face-first into the side of the entrance tunnel. He rips part of the tunnel out, but Starks ducks when he tries to use it. Starks sends Hobbs through a table with a Spear. He hits Hobbs with the piece of the entrance tunnel and hits the Roshambo for the win.

Winner: Ricky Starks
