Two Championship Matches Added To IMPACT Bound For Glory

The X-Division Championship match is now confirmed for IMPACT Bound For Glory.

At IMPACT Victory Road, Frankie Kazarian won the second-ever Triple Threat Revolver to earn a X-Division Championship shot at IIMPACT’s marquee pay-per-view. Kazarian, representing AEW, outlasted Kenny King, Black Taurus, Trey Miguel, Yuya Yuemera, Alex Zayne, Laredo Kid, and Mia Yim.

To kick off the night, “Speedball” Mike Bailey successfully defended the X-Division Championship against ROH legend Delirious. As a result, Frankie Kazarian will now challenge Mike Bailey for the title in two weeks. This will be Kazarian’s fifth Bound For Glory event.

Additionally, Gail Kim has made it official that Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka will team up to challenge VXT for the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship at Bound For Glory. Valkyrie and Rosemary were owed a rematch, but Rosemary is allowing Jessicka to have the opportunity.

Below is the updated Bound For Glory lineup:

  • IMPACT World Championship: Josh Alexander (c) vs. Eddie Edwards
  • IMPACT Knockouts World Championship: Jordynne Grace (c) vs. Masha Slamovich
  • IMPACT World Tag Team Championship: Matt Taven & Mike Bennett (c) vs. Motor City Machine Guns
  • IMPACT X-Division Championship: Mike Bailey (c) vs. Frankie Kazarian
  • IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: VXT (c) vs. Taya Valkyrie & Jessicka Havok

IMPACT Bound For Glory will emanate from the Albany Armory in Albany, New York, on Friday, October 7. WrestleZone will have complete coverage of the pay-per-view as it airs.
