Battle Slam: Aftermath Results (9/25): Inaugural ICON World Champion Crowned

Battle Slam held its ‘Aftermath’ event on September 25 from the Oasis Event Center in Atlanta, GA.

The show featured a tournament to crown the inaugural Battle Slam ICON World Champion.

The results are as follows:

  • ICON World Championship Tournament Wild Card: Kevin Knight def. KC Navarro and Jay Malachi; Navarro dropped Knight with a low blow and attacked him after the match. The next tournament match started right away.
  • ICON World Championship Tournament Semi-Final: Baron Black def. Kevin Knight
  • ICON World Championship Tournament Semi-Final: Lil’ Scrappy def. Shoot Taylor
  • ICON World Championship Tournament Semi-Final: Leon Ruff def. Adam Priest
  • ICON World Championship Tournament: Richard King def. Chad Skywalker
  • Queen Aminata def.  Savannah Evans
  • Chris Bey def. Kaun
  • Shalonce Royal vs. Ashley D’Amboise ended in a no context when Jada Stone and Hyena Hera; the bout was turned into a tag team contest.
  • Ashley D’Amboise and Hyena Hera def. Shalonce Royal and Jada Stone
  • Elimination Match for the ICON World Championship (Tournament Finals): Baron Black def. Lil’ Scrappy, Leon Ruff, and Richard King to win the title
    • Scrappy got eliminated via disqualification when he hit Black with the title belt. Ruff later pinned King to eliminate him. Black won the match by making Ruff tap out. After the match, he cut a promo about winning the title and the way the fans turned their back on him. He stated that whoever holds the title is an “icon.” Black gave Scrappy credit for proving himself in the ring. He praised his opponents and vowed to be a fighting champion.
