AEW Battle Of The Belts IV Results (10/7/22): Three Title Matches

All Elite Wrestling delivered a star-studded show with AEW Battle of the Belts IV on October 7.

FTR defended the ROH World Tag Team Championship against the Gates of Agony. Plus. Trent Beretta challenged PAC for the All-Atlantic Championship, and Jade Cargill put the TBS Championship on the line against Willow Nightingale.

The results are as follows:

AEW All-Atlantic Championship: PAC (c) vs. Trent Beretta

PAC and Beretta take the fight to each other. Beretta dumps the champion out of the ring and dives onto him. The challenger maintains the advantage and sends PAC to the outside again. Beretta dominates the opening minutes, but PAC rallies with a stiff kick. They brawl outside of the ring. Both men are down after an avalanche brainbuster. PAC gains the upper hand, but Beretta fires up. Beretta drops PAC with a German suplex and tosses him with a half-and-half suplex. The challenger gets a two count with an elevated DDT. He gets a near fall with a piledriver. PAC sends Beretta crashing through a table with a brainbuster. Beretta blocks the Black Arrow, but he champion counters a Spear. Beretta hits an avalanche half-and-half throw for a two count. PAC locks in the Brutalizer, but Beretta reaches the ropes. PAC grabs the ring bell hammer and hits Beretta with it. He pins Beretta to win the bout.

After the bell, Orange Cassidy attacks PAC, and security guards separate them.

The Jericho Appreciation Society is backstage. They discuss their win on Wednesday and say it’s time for Daniel Garcia to come home. Chris Jericho says the group taught Garcia a lesson in sports entertainment. He vows to desecrate the legacy of Ring of Honor, and he announces he’s bringing the Lionheart will return for his match against Bryan Danielson on AEW Dynamite.

AEW TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Willow Nightingale

Cargill and Nightingale feel each other out. Nightingale gains the upper hand until Cargill slams her into the steel steps. The champion controls the action for a minute, but Nightingale rallies with a flurry of offense. She hits a cannonball in the corner. Cargill takes control again and hits the Jaded for the win.

Vickie Guerrero comes to the stage to distract Cargill. Nyla Rose sneaks up and steals the TBS Championship. She then runs away, and Cargill chases her.

Ethan Page, alongside Stokely Hathway, is backstage with Matt Hardy. Page accuses Hardy of contract tampering with Private Party, and Hathaway plays a clip to prove it. Hardy denies the allegations and vows to “delete” the noses off their faces if they keep interfering in his business.

Backstage, HOOK is asked about the envelope from The TrustBusters, and he rips it up.

In a promo, Toni Storm and Britt Baker discuss their tag team match against Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter.

ROH World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona) (with Prince Nana)

Harwood and Kaun feel each other out. Kaun drops Harwood with a clothesline and overpowers him. Harwood suplexes Kaun. FTR double-teams him as Wheeler tags in. Kaun gains the upper hand and tags Liona, who grounds Wheeler. The challengers isolate Wheeler and take firm control. Wheeler rallies and sends Liona crashing into the ringside barricade. Kaun maintains the advantage. Nana and Liona attack Wheeler at ringside. The Gates of Agony continue to dominate for a few minutes. FTR rallies and double-teams Liona with a rope-hung spike DDT. Kaun slams Wheeler for a two count. FTR hits a stump piledriver for a two count. The champions drop Liona with the Big Rig. Nana distracts the referee, and Harwood sends Kaun crashing into the manager, He then stacks Kaun up to win the bout.

Kaun and Liona attack Harwood and Wheeler after the bell. Brian Cage comes to the ring and joins in on the attack. Wardlow comes to the ring and tries to make the save, but the numbers aren’t in his favor. Samoa Joe comes down and clears house. WardJoe and FTR stand tall, and they stare down The Embassy to close the show.
