AEW Releases Official Medical Update About Hangman Page After 10/18 AEW Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling has provided an official update about Hangman Page.

Page suffered an apparent injury on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite. In the main event, he faced AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, and at the end of the bout, Page landed awkwardly when Moxley hit him with a lariat. Page seemingly hit his head during the landing. Medical personnel checked on Page, and the referee stopped the match. The medical team subsequently carried Page out of the ring on a stretcher.

After the show, AEW shared a statement on Twitter and announced that Page has been diagnosed with a concussion. Though he was discharged, he will remain in AEW’s concussion protocol.

The statement is as follows:

Hangman Adam Page was taken tonight by medical personnel to a Cincinnati trauma center and diagnosed with a concussion. He was discharged, but will remain in AEW’s concussion protocol.

AEW and Hangman Page are grateful for the exemplary response and care of staff and local medical personnel, and are appreciative of the love and support of fans everywhere.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
