AEW Rampage Results (11/25/22): ROH Tag Title Match And More

All Elite Wrestling will offer the special “Black Friday” episode of AEW Rampage at a special start time on November 25.

The show will kick off at 4 p.m. EST, and it will feature FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) defending the ROH World Tag Team Championship against Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin). Plus, Rush, The Butcher, and The Blade will battle 19, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver of Dark Order. Fans will also hear from ROH World Champion Chris Jericho.

The results are as follows:

ROH World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin)

Harwood and Darius start the bout and feel each other out. Darius gains the upper hand early on. Harwood takes control and grounds the young star. Wheeler tags in and chops Darius. Darius takes Wheeler down and tags Dante. Wheeler drops Dante with a shoulder block. Darius gets a blind tag and stuns Wheeler with a kick. The challengers double-team Wheeler.  Harwood tags back in and trades blows with Darius. Dante breaks up a double-team with a knee strike. Dante and Darius hit stereo hurricanranas. Top Flight keeps rolling, forcing FTR to leave the ring and strategize. Wheeler grounds Dante, and FTR isolates him. Dante rallies with a flurry of offense and takes the champions down with a dropkick. Dante and Darius dive onto Dax and Cash on the outside. A diving crossbody earns Dante a two count. Harwood keeps fighting. Wheeler tags in, and FTR hits a powerbomb/splash combination for a two count. Harwood levels Darius with a lariat. Darius breaks up a Big Rig attempt. Dante gets a two count with a sunset flip. Darius drops Dax with a DDT, and Dante gets a two count with a splash.

Harwood drops Darius with a brainbuster. Dante rolls him up for a two count. Wheeler tags in, and FTR hits the Big Rig for the win.

In-Ring Segment: Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho and the Jericho Appreciation Society come to the ring. Angelo Parker tells the crowd to honor “The Ocho”, and Jericho claims that he is the greatest ROH Champion of all time. He says he has bled for the title, and he has earned it. Jericho says Claudio Castagnoli giving him a cheap shot won’t slow him down. He wonders who will dethrone him, and Castagnoli interrupts. He says that Jericho is not the greatest ROH World Champion, and he knows he can beat him. Castagnoli tells Jericho that he needs to beat him. Jericho counters by telling him to worry about the Blackpool Combat Club. Castagnoli says he hasn’t been able to do anything because he is driven by his need to beat Jericho. The champion turns him down and says he doesn’t have anything to offer him. Matt Menard suggests that Castagnoli could be a great addition to the JAS because he was once a great sports entertainer. Jericho says he’ll face Castagnoli, but if he loses, he will gave to join the JAS. Castagnoli accepts and notes that he would be a great asset to the JAS, but he’s a better wrestler than he is a sports entertainer. He vows to beat Jericho at ROH Final Battle.

Backstage, Renee Paquette asks Toni Storm about her loss at AEW Full Gear. Storm says she’s proud of Hayter, but the new champion needed Britt Baker and Rebel to beat her. Storm comments on her title reign being recognized and says she always carried the championship like it was the true championship. She says she’ll break her face to get the title back.

Allin (with Sting) vs. Anthony Henry (with JD Drake)

Allin and Henry feel each other out. The former TNT Champion takes Drake out with a dive to the outside. Henry hits a guillotine on the ropes and trips Allin up on the apron. Henry grounds Allin and continues to control the match. Allin counters a German suplex, but Henry maintains the advantage. Henry kicks Allin in the corner and hits a running dropkick. He drops the fan-favorite with a neckbreaker. Allin rallies with a Code Red for a two count. Drake drills Allin with a lariat. Sting confronts Henry at ringside and drops him with a clothesline before he sends him into the barricade.

Allin floors Henry with a Scorpion Death Drop, and both men are down. He hits the Coffin Drop for the win.

Winner: Darby Allin

Backstage, Athena comments on her suspension for hitting Aubrey Edwards. Lexy Nair says she’ll be reinstated on Monday. Athena says she wondered how long it would take Mercedes Martinez to show up. She wonders when Martinez will put her ROH Women’s World Championship on the line.

Hikaru Shida vs. Queen Aminata 

Shida gets distracted by Penelope Ford and The Bunny when they come to the stage, and Aminata capitalizes. She drills the former champion with a kick to the head. Shida reverses an air raid crash and nails Aminata with an elbow strike. She hits a Falcon Arrow and blasts Aminata with the Katana for the win.

Winner: Hikaru Shida

Backstage, Harwood says 2022 has been a great year for FTR. He challenges Bryan Danielson to a match on Dynamite.

RUSH, The Butcher, and The Blade vs. Dark Order (John Silver, Alex Reynolds, and John Silver)

In a pre-match interview, 10 is conspicuous by his absence, but Silver and Reynolds are confident that he’ll be there. The Blade and The Butcher say they’re going to kick ass. Silver and Reynolds come to the ring without 10. The match quickly turns into a brawl. Despite being down a man, Reynolds takes the fight to his opponent. RUSH and his partners briefly isolate Reynolds. Silver tags in and takes control with a flurry of offense. He slams The Blade and dives onto The Butcher, but the big man catches him and sends him into a stiff strike from RUSH. The Blade and his teammates gang up on Silver. The Blade and company squash a few rally attempts by John Silver. Evil Uno and -1 to the stage, and they bring out 10, who runs to the ring. 10 levels Silver with a lariat. RUSH hits the Bull’s Horns on Silver for the win.

10 and his new allies beat up the Dark Order members after the match. 10 rips Uno’s mask off and slams Reynolds through a table. The powerhouse takes his mask off and drops it at -1’s feet.
