Shawn Michaels Announces Iron Survivor Challenge Participants For NXT Deadline

Shawn Michaels and a host of Hall of Fame panelists picked the participants for the Iron Survivor Challenge Matches on the November 29 episode of WWE NXT.

On Tuesday night, Michaels, Road Dogg, X-Pac, Molly Holly, and Alundra Blayze discussed the decision for the matches, which will be held at NXT Deadline. On the men’s side, Road Dogg and X-Pac picked Carmelo Hayes. Everyone else agreed. Blayze suggested that Tony D’Angelo should be in the match. Michaels noted that D’Angelo is still a few weeks away from being fully ready to go. He stated that sometimes you have to protect the talents from themselves.

X-Pac brought up JD McDonagh, and everyone praised the way he can go in the win. Molly Holly pitched Joe Gacy, and Road Dogg liked the idea. Road Dogg named Von Wagner before he and X-Pac pointed to Axiom, but they weren’t sure if he was cleared to compete. Grayson Waller’s name also came up in the conversation.

As for the women, Blayze named Roxanne Perez, while Road Dogg pointed to Zoey Stark. Molly Holly noted that everyone seems to think Indi Hartwell is ready for the main roster. Cora Jade, Kiana James, and Fallon Henley were also named. Molly Holly named Alba Fyre and stated that she’s the best worker on the roster. The panelists then wrote their picks down on a piece of paper.

At the end of the show, Michaels confirmed the lineups for the Iron Survivor Challenge matches:
