WWE RAW Viewership Drops To Lowest Number Since July 2021 On 12/12

WWE RAW viewership dropped on December 12, both in the total viewership and in the key demographic rating.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.472 million viewers tuned in, which is down from last week (1.556 million viewers). The viewership number for Monday’s episode was RAW’s lowest since July 5, 2021.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.37 rating, which is also down from last week (0.41 rating in the same demographic.) RAW ranked seventh among cable originals.

Monday Night Football dominated cable last night on ESPN, so RAW took the seventh, eighth, and ninth spots in the demographic among cable originals on Monday night, with hour one taking the top spot of the three hours this week.

The hourly breakdown, courtesy of Showbuzz Daily, is as follows:

  • First hour: 1.482 million viewers, 0.38 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Second hour: 1.547 million viewers, 0.38 in the 18 to 49 demographic
  • Third hour: 1.388 million viewers, 0.35 in the 18 to 49 demographic

This week’s episode opened with Alexa Bliss defeating Bayley to become the number-one contender for Bianca Belair’s RAW Women’s Championship. The main event saw Seth “Freakin” Rollins defeat Bobby Lashley to become the number-one contender for the United States Championship. After the match, Lashley assaulted a referee and shoved WWE official Adam Pearce, which led to Pearce “firing” the former WWE Champion.
