AEW’s Marq Quen, Rosario Guillo Share Injury Updates

Two AEW wrestlers are currently sidelined.

Fightful Select previously reported that Marq Quen has been out with an injury for the last few months, and Matt Hardy confirmed the news in a tweet on January 2 by noting that Quen will be out of action “for a bit”. While his diagnosis is unclear, Quen vowed to return faster than a barefoot jackrabbit on a hot greasy griddle in the middle of August. Quen is one-half of Private Party alongside Matt Hardy. He last wrestled on the December 2 episode of AEW Rampage, where Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett defeated Private Party,

Additionally, Rosario Grillo, a student at the Nightmare Factory and a regular on AEW Dark, previously noted that he broke his fibula on December 28, and he’d be out for a few months. In an update, he stated that the injury is worse than he initially thought, as he fractured his ankle and tore the ligaments in his ankle. As a result, Grillo will need surgery. It’s currently unclear how long Grillo will be out of action following the surgery.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
