Matt Hardy: Marq Quen Is A ‘Couple Of Months’ Away From AEW Return

Marq Quen is closer to coming back to AEW.

Private Party’s Marq Quen has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury for almost a year. Now, Matt Hardy and Private Party have provided an optimistic update on Quen’s status. The trio joined Jon Alba on the 100th episode of The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, and Hardy said that Quen is getting closer to a return.

“We heard some good news that Marq Quen, he’s like a couple of months away from being back. This is great. Look at him,” Hardy said.

“I feel pretty good. Real good, actually,” Quen added. “Ready to be back.”

Hardy then joked that despite his absence, Marq Quen still looks the same, almost like he entered the Lake of Reincarnation.

“We miss him. He’s been gone a year, it’s been a long time. He had a very difficult injury,” Matt Hardy noted. “You haven’t aged. You actually look younger, like you dipped in the Lake, man.

Marq Quen last wrestled on the December 2, 2022 episode of AEW Rampage, where Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett defeated Private Party.

In another report, Sapp provided an update on Marq Quen, who last competed on the December 2, 2022, episode of AEW Rampage. His absence has led to Isiah Kassidy teaming up with The Hardys and Ethan Page.

Per Sapp, Quen was backstage at a recent show, and AEW is hopeful that he could return sooner than later. Even if/when Quen gets cleared, there is no word on whether any creative plans for him are in place.
