Bret Hart Set To Star In New Movie ‘STALKER’

A legend inside the squared circle, Bret “The Hitman” Hart will now lend himself to the silver screen.

Next month, Hart will star in a new film entitled STALKER led by English director Steve Johnson. Slated to premiere on March 24th, 2023, the film will land in select theaters and On Demand services. In addition, Hart will star alongside Sophie Skelton of Outlander and BAFTA-winning actor Stuart Brennan

A synopsis of the Gravitas Ventures-distributed thriller can be read below:

A broken down freight elevator precariously hangs dangerously high, trapping a young woman inside with her stalker.

Starring Sophie Skelton (Outlander) and BAFTA winning actor Stuart Brennan. Rose Hepburn, a young horror actress, returns to her empty hotel. Forced to use the old freight elevator, it jolts to a halt on the twelfth floor, leaving her trapped with an unusual stranger.

Left with no phone signal as a storm approaches, tensions escalate and suspicions rise when Rose discovers the identity of the mysterious man is Daniel Reed, a camera operator who is seemingly obsessed with her.

STALKER isn’t Hart’s first acting gig, as his resume stretches back three decades. In 1994, Hart appeared in the director’s cut of Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers as a prison inmate. In television, he’d make appearances on The Simpsons, Lonesome Dove: The Series, and Honey, I Shrunk The Kids. More recently, Hart appeared alongside Corey Feldman in Tales From The Dead Zone

Outside of acting, Hart recently announced the launch of his new bar, The Hitman’s Bar. The grand opening will proceed this month in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Hitman’s Bar will be a “place to gather, enjoy a great meal, live, laugh, and celebrate,” as Hart explained via Twitter.

WrestleZone will provide more details about the STALKER film and Hart’s role as they become available.
