Tamina and her family are hopeful that we’ll see The Rock return to WWE to wrestle again at some point in the future.

WWE Superstar Tamina recently sat down with Alan Dawson of Insider to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about her cousin Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Tamina spoke glowingly about him, calling him a mentor, and revealed she started in the wrestling business because of him.

“Dwayne’s a huge mentor, you know, because when I first started, it was because of him,” Tamina said. “He’s a huge example. The way he is in interviews, that’s really him — he’s really that funny person. He’s that loving man, that husband, and he is that father. Like, his girls are crazy about their dad. You see him as a character, you see him as a superstar at WWE. It’s all these different things, but he’s an entrepreneur. He could probably become the next president for crying out loud, and I’m proud of him. You can never repay anybody back for any of that for the kind of love that they show you.”

When asked about The Rock buying her a house last year, Tamina admitted that she couldn’t believe it and that she certainly wasn’t expecting it.

“Who freaking does that?” Tamina said. “I could not believe it, I was not expecting that, for sure. But that’s just what he shows — pure, genuine love.”

When asked about a potential return to the squared circle for The Rock in WWE, Tamina revealed that everyone, including his mother, wants to see him return to the ring.

“All of us, including his mama, want him to come back,” Tamina said. “I feel like everybody wants him to return.”
