Aussie Open will defend the gold on the April 14 episode of AEW Rampage.
Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta) challenged IWGP Tag Team Champions Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) to a title match on the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, and the match was confirmed for Rampage.
Speaking of tag team champions, FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) will address the fans on Friday. FTR defeated The Gunns in a Titles vs. AEW Careers to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Elsewhere on the show, Emi Sakura will take on Taya Valkyrie, and the quartet of Mark Briscoe, Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh will be in action.
Elsewhere in the night, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry will take on Shawn Spears, as Perry will aim to continue his recent winning streak. The match will mark Spears’ return to AEW; he has been absent since the October 14 episode of AEW Rampage. There, he teamed up with FTR to defeat The Embassy. Spears wrestled his first match since October at the WrestlePro WrestleProFest event on March 18.
