Kota Ibushi believes AEW All In London at Wembley Stadium needs something special, and he’s confident that he can help sell tickets for the show.
Ibushi is one of the hottest free agents on the open market; he returned to the ring in March after he had been out of action since October 2021. Since his NJPW contract expired at the end of January, Ibushi has commented on potentially working with All Elite Wrestling on multiple occasions. With the news that AEW will make its United Kingdom debut with AEW All In, fans continue to wonder whether Ibushi could be brought in for the show, as the company will aim to bring in plenty of fans to the large stadium.
Speaking with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Ibushi explained why he believes he should be part of the show.
“I think something super special is needed,” Ibushi said. “Especially if you want to fill out every seat. I believe I’m the essence that’s necessary & my mental and physical state is the strongest it has ever been so I’m very confident about it.”
Ibushi recently noted that he’d like to potentially face Chris Jericho or Hangman Page at AEW All In, among other options. He also stated that he hopes to be in contact with AEW CEO Tony Khan soon.
The former NJPW star has said he believes he’s more suited to AEW than Japan. He also named his terms for a potential deal with the company.
