Deonna Purrazzo vs. Jordynne Grace Set For IMPACT Under Siege, Stipulation Added

If you loved the main event of IMPACT Rebellion between Deonna Purrazzo and Jordynne Grace, we have some good news for you.

IMPACT Wrestling took to social media on Friday to announce that Deonna Purrazzo will defend her newly won Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace at IMPACT Under Siege on May 26. As if the title match itself was not a big enough incentive, IMPACT added the stipulation that if Grace loses, she can’t challenge for the title as long as Purrazzo is champion.

The official announcement reads:

“BREAKING: @DeonnaPurrazzo will defend the Knockouts World Championship against @JordynneGrace at #UnderSiege on May 26 LIVE on IMPACT Plus from London, ON and if Grace loses she cannot get another title match as long as Deonna is champion,” IMPACT Wrestling said in a tweet.

Before they get to Under Siege, Purrazzo and Grace will team up to challenge The Coven for the Knockouts Tag Team Championship at Spring Slugfest in Chicago on April 28.

Deonna Purrazzo Wants To Be The ‘Champ Champ’ Again, Teases Multiverse Match

IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo recently sat down with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard to discuss a wide variety of subjects. Purrazzo spoke about her rivalry with Jordynne Grace while remaining friends outside the ring, noting how they have a certain level of mutual respect.

“I think especially when you’re fighting somebody, you know what I mean? There has to be a respect because you’re literally beating the crap out of each other for one goal,” Deonna Purrazzo said. And if someone can beat you up a little bit more or is that much stronger or faster or — look at the things that Jordynne has accomplished over the last, even just one month. She trained for the last six, eight months, whatever it was, for a bodybuilding competition, and she destroyed it. She won everything.

“So, Jordynne’s transformation, you have to respect just as a human being. And I think when you can differentiate that of like, ‘hey, we have one goal in mind, we’re going to beat the hell out of each other to get there, but then also look at what we’re doing in real life and look what you had to do to get here, and you still made it through.’ And I think that’s our biggest thing is like the people we are outside of the ring, we can respect that and then bring that fight to each other at the end, at the end of the day and just be like, ‘Hey, you got the best of me and thank you.‘”
