WWE has recently filed a trademark for Kelani Jordan, a superstar who just made her debut during last night’s NXT Level Up.
The trademark — which was filed on May 9, 2023 — is a fairly standard one, and looks to cover the name Kelani Jordan across “categories of entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio,” according to the filing (via Fightful).
The name Kelani Jordan will be utilized by Lea Mitchell, a former gymnast at Michigan State. Mitchell has already performed at a handful of NXT house shows in recent weeks, but debuted as Jordan during the latest episode of NXT Level Up. In the ring, she took a loss to Wendy Choo in a hard-fought match.
