Update: All Elite Wrestling has confirmed AEW Fight Forever will be released on June 29.
The release of AEW Fight Forever is reportedly right around the corner, after multiple changes to its initially planned date.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that, as of May 19, AEW Fight Forever is scheduled to be released on June 27. Mike Straw recently reported that the game was set to come out around the same time as AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, which will be held on June 25.
Sapp then confirmed June 27 as the date after multiple retailers had been informed of a late June release. He noted that, per sources, an official announcement is expected to be coming in the next week.
In the report, Sapp wrote that future release of another game is possible, as AEW holds the rights to the engine, but the Yuke’s title was planned to be a one-off with constant updates.
