Rhea Ripley Would Love To Compete For A Men’s Championship In WWE

Rhea Ripley would love to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was a recent guest on The Battleground Podcast to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the current heat Dominik Mysterio is getting from the WWE Universe, Ripley says it’s pretty entertaining for her and believes Dom is going to have gold around his waist soon.

“Yeah, he’s definitely getting a massive reaction from the WWE Universe, and it’s quite entertaining,” Rhea Ripley admitted. “Every week, it seems to get louder and louder. So in no time, like seeing how far he’s grown in the last six months. Seeing his confidence completely grow in him and just blossom into the Superstar that we see today. He’s definitely going to have some championship gold around his waist sometime soon, I believe it. He believes it. And so do Finn and Damian.”

When asked if she has any desire to compete in the Women’s Money in the Bank match this year in an attempt to unify the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships, Ripley admitted that it didn’t sound like a bad idea and that she’d love to do it.

“Actually doesn’t sound like too bad of a plan,” Rhea Ripley confessed. “Possibly? I mean, if I’m not caught up with something else, then I would love to be a part of Money in the Bank. I don’t see why not?”

In recent months, Ripley has been seen getting physical with some of the male WWE Superstars. When asked about the possibility of her going for a male championship, Ripley said she would absolutely be down for it and thinks her name should be at the top of the line for an opportunity like that.

“You know, it would be awesome. It definitely would be awesome. I’m down for it. I 110% would be down for it,” Rhea Ripley said. “Obviously, we don’t know what the future holds. And I don’t know how well intergender wrestling is gonna go within the WWE in general, with the networks and all of that, but if it would ever be a possibility like my name is at the top of the line; it has to be.

“I’ve already shown that I can step in the ring with the boys. So, I’d be down to that. I’d love to be tag champs with Dom Dom, or Priest, or Finn. I would love to give Seth Rollins a bit of a lesson after Monday; him putting his arm around me scaring the living hell out of me. I thought it was Dom, but whatever. So he’s gonna get his. [laughs] I would love to.”
