Backstage, Jinder Mahal is with Indus Sher. Mahal challenges Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander to a proper tag match since Mahaan and Sanga didn’t give them a chance to get out of the gates last week.

Ricochet vs. Bronson Reed

As soon as the bell rings, Ricochet attacks Reed. Reed tosses Ricochet away like a sack of laundry. Reed destroys Ricochet with a stiff right hand. Ricochet goes down like a sack of bricks. Shinsuke Nakamura walks down to the ring. Reed tosses Ricochet all over the ring. After the break, Ricochet fires up and sends Reed out of the ring.

Tope Suicida by Ricochet. Ricochet sends Reed back into the ring and hits a crossbody off the top. Springboard moonsault by Ricochet. Ricochet sends Reed outside the ring again. Ricochet tries another moonsault, but Reed catches him. Reed launches Ricochet into Nakamura. Nakamura hits the ring and attacks Reed to cause a disqualification.

Winner- Bronson Reed

After the match, Nakamura and Ricochet superplex Reed off the top.

Backstage, Ricochet asks Adam Pearce for a match with Bronson Reed next week. Pearce says he would love to give him a match, but someone already asked for Reed next week. Nakamura walks into the frame. Ricochet asks Nakamura what the problem is. Nakamura says Ricochet can have Reed when he’s done. Ricochet tells Nakamura they may have to finish what they started together.

In-Ring Segment: Finn Bálor

Bálor says he wants Rollins in the ring. No one-liners, no zingers, he wants a legitimate face-to-face. Rollins obliges and joins Bálor in the ring. Bálor asks the crowd if they are done since they won’t stop singing his song. Bálor says he’s been waiting seven years to say what he has to say, so the crowd needs to shut up. The crowd continues singing Rollins’ song. Bálor says he was a first-round draft pick, he beat Roman Reigns on his first night, then he beat Rollins to become the first Universal Champion.

The crowd continues to sing. Bálor says the highest of highs for him ended up being the lowest of lows for him. Bálor says the crowd sings his song, but they don’t even know him. Rollins asks what Bálor is talking about. Bálor says Rollins took everything from him. His momentum, his career, everything. It’s his turn. Bálor will take Rollins’ title and career from him at Money in the Bank. Rollins laughs. Not because the crowd is drowning Bálor’s promo out, but because this is the Bálor Rollins has been waiting for, for seven years.

Rollins notes that seven years ago, one of them got bitter, and the other got better. He accepts Bálor’s challenge. Rollins asks Bálor which version of him will show up at Money in the Bank. The Bálor standing in front of him, the bitter ex-champion, doesn’t stand a chance. Is Bálor going to bring the version of him that beat Rollins with his arm hanging off his body? Or is he going to bring the version that has been walking around here acting like a little bitch? Rollins drops the mic, laughs, and walks away.
