Becky Lynch reveals the WWE RAW Superstar who calls her mom backstage.
Appearing on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, the former WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion opened up about the bond she shares with RAW Superstar Je’Von Evans.
“.. we’ve got Je’Von Evans. He’s 21. He is younger than my wrestling career. He calls me ‘Mom.’ Yes. Because I’m old enough to be his mom. I’m so proud of him. I’m like, ‘Oh, son! Look at you. Look at you out there main-eventing Elimination Chamber.’ And I just think he’s the coolest. I think he’s so awesome. The confidence that he has, the ability that he has, his promos, everything. I’m like, ‘This kid’s a star,'” Becky Lynch said.
Je’Von Evans made his Elimination Chamber debut earlier this year and made history as the first competitor born after the inception of the Elimination Chamber structure to compete in the match.
Evans also joked about his age during a previous interview on the No Contest Wrestling podcast. During the conversation, O’Shea recalled being introduced to Shawn Michaels through WWE RAW on the Sega Genesis because his older brother always picked The Heartbreak Kid.
The conversation took a hilarious turn when Je’Von Evans asked the hosts what a Sega Genesis was. Evans prefaced the question by saying it would show just how young he is. A quick Google search shows that the “Young OG” was born in April 2004, making him slightly older than the original WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw video game, which was released later that year.
