Spoiler: Former NXT Star Returns To IMPACT During 6/23 TV Tapings

A noteworthy name returned to IMPACT Wrestling at the “Summer Sizzler” television tapings on June 23. Read on if you wish to be spoiled.

IMPACT held the first night of their “Summer Sizzler” television tapings from Center Stage in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 23. According to fans at the venue, Zachary Wentz made his return to the company during IMPACT X-Division Champion Chris Sabin during his match with Trey Miguel. As a result, Sabin won the match vis disqualification. IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley made the save.

Wentz previously worked for IMPACT from 2018-2020; he was featured as a member of The Rascalz alongside Dezmond Xavier and Trey Miguel. Xavier and Wentz he left the company in December 2020, when they signed with WWE. Together, the duo competed as MSK. They won the 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, and they captured the NXT Tag Team Championship twice.

Wentz was released in April 2022 following allegations from his ex-wife, Kimber Lee, and the resurfacing of an image of Wentz with an Adolf Hitler-like mustache. Wentz later issued a statement about the situation.

Since his release, Wentz has been active on the independent scene; in recent months, he has competed for Wrestling REVOLVER and Prestige, among other promotions.
