Trish Stratus wants the gold, and she sees Zoey Stark getting some in the future as well.
Stark aligned with Stratus at WWE Night of Champions, where she attacked Becky Lynch and helped the WWE Hall of Famer defeat the former RAW Women’s Champion. The duo have been a successful pairing ever since, as they have both qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Stratus shared her thoughts ahead of the match and noted that’s excited about the chance to potentially be a champion again. She also stated that she sees gold in Stark’s future.
“I’m excited about this opportunity, of course, and the outcome, getting the contract and possibly becoming a women’s champion. It’s very exciting. I haven’t been women’s champion in a few years, quite a few years, and you have not been. But I see champion in your future. Near, far, I’m not sure which future it is, but sometime down the line. I’m excited and looking forward to it.
“Preparing, I just stay ready. That’s what we talk about. We stay ready. Preparedness meets opportunity. You know that’s my motto. This opportunity is big, and it’s a chance for us to show what we can do together as well. We’re excited.”
